I get an error when setting up a bank account transfer for Coincheck Periodic Payment Plans

When setting up an account transfer with Coincheck Periodic Payment Plans, bank accounts with a name different from the name registered with Coincheck cannot normally be set up. Therefore, we ask that you register with a bank account that has the same name as the name registered with Coincheck.
However, there are cases where the account can be set up under a different name, such as when the account holder's name is a common name, or when the bank's specifications allow for different capitalization of the name.

Examples of bank account settings that are possible

Example 1) There is a difference in the capitalization of the name.

  • Coincheck registered name:
    • コインチェック シュウタ
  • Bank account holder's name:
    • コインチェック シユウタ

Example 2) The name on the bank account is partially omitted.

  • Coincheck registered kana name:
    • コインチェックカブシキガイシャ
  • Name of the nominee on the bank account:
    • コインチェック(カ

Example 3) The name of the bank account holder is a common name.

  • Coincheck registered name:
    • チェ ジョンファン
  • Bank account holder's name:
    • ヤマダ タロウ

Examples of bank accounts that cannot be set up

Example 1) The name of the nominee is different from the registered Kana name

  • Coincheck registered name:
    • コインチェック タロウ
  • Bank account holder's name:
    • ヤマダ ケンタ

Example 2) Same last name but different first name

  • Coincheck registered Kana name:
    • コインチェック タロウ
  • Bank account holder's name:
    • コインチェック ハナコ

Example 3) Same first name but different last name

  • Coincheck registered Kana full name:
    • コインチェック タロウ
  • Bank account holder's name:
    • ヤマダ タロウ

We will check the details we receive and if there are no problems with the account transfer, we will be able to set up the account with the bank account you provided.
