How to change your email notification settings

You can change your email notification settings on both the Coincheck website and app through the "Change Basic Settings" option. Please follow the steps below after logging into your Coincheck account.
1. Open "Change Basic Settings"
- On the Web Browser:
- Select the gear icon from the menu on the screen and click or tap "Change Basic Settings".
- On the App:
- Tap "Wallet" at the bottom of the screen, then sequentially tap the "Account" icon at the top right of the screen, and finally tap "Change Basic Settings".
2. Change Email Reception Settings
There are three types of emails for which you can choose to receive or reject notifications:
- Trades and Deposits/Withdrawals:
- These are emails sent when you buy or sell cryptocurrency, or when you deposit or withdraw Japanese Yen.
- Login Notifications:
- These emails are sent when you log in to Coincheck. They are also sent when you perform passkey authentication, such as when sending cryptocurrency.
- Coincheck Newsletter:
- This is an irregularly sent email magazine from Coincheck.
To stop receiving a specific type of email, uncheck the box next to it and press "Change". To resume receiving emails, check the box and press "Change".
Important Notes:
- These settings are for important notifications and announcements regarding your use of Coincheck, so please consider carefully before making any changes.
- If you choose not to receive notifications, please refer to the announcements published on our corporate website or the information posted on our official X (formerly Twitter) account.
- Changes to settings may take some time to reflect, so you might still receive emails even after setting them not to be received. In such cases, please wait for a while.
