What is Itayose?
A
Itayose method at our company is a method used to determine the opening price for the reopening of the trading floor and to facilitate the smooth reopening of the trading floor.
Specifically, when all sell orders and buy orders on the board are matched before the start of Itayose, the price is determined as the execution price, and the trade is executed for the order whose volume matches the volume on the board.
| Itayose Triggering Timing | Itayose is automatically executed in the following cases. ・When the exchange reopens after an exchange suspension due to maintenance. ・When the exchange reopens after an exchange suspension due to circuit breaker. |
| Order Types for Order Acceptance Period | The following order types are accepted. ・Limit orders PostOnly orders are treated as normal limit orders. * Stop Limit Orders will be processed after the completion of Itayose. * All orders exceeding the closing price limit at the time of exchange suspension will be canceled. |
| Preparation for Itayose Activation | To prepare for Itayose, orders will be accepted for 2 minutes as "Order Only Accepted" status. |
| Execution Time | Execution by Itayose processing shall be at the same time. |
| Order of priority for matching at Itayose | When there is a trade between buy and sell on the trading board, the quantity presented at the corresponding price will be executed first, regardless of the quantity. |
| Method of determining the execution price | The execution price is determined as described in “How to determine the execution price at Itayose” below at the time of Itayose, and all orders on the relevant trading board are executed at the same price. |
| Itayose Time | It takes about 10 minutes to process Itayose after completing 2 minutes of order acceptance as preparation for activation of Itayose. * May be accelerated depending on the state of the order book. |
