How do I lock my account?
A
We will show you how to lock your account.
Please choose from the options below depending on your situation.
1.Go to the Change Basic Settings page.
a.[App]
- Tap the Wallet tab → Tap the human icon at the top right → Tap Change Basic Settings
b.[Browser]
- Click the gear icon in the menu → Click Change Basic Settings
2.In the Account Lock section, tap or click the Lock Account button.
3.A confirmation pop-up will appear:
- “Click OK to lock your account and log out. Continue?”
- Tap or click OK.
4.You’ll be returned to the login screen and the lock will be complete.
Please refer to the following information for more details.
1.On the login screen, tap or click Account Lock.
2.Enter your registered email address and tap or click "Send".
3.An email titled "【Coincheck】 An account lock has been requested." will be sent.
4.Click the URL in the email to complete the lock.
- A screen saying “Account Lock Complete” will appear.
5.You’ll also receive a confirmation email titled "【Coincheck】Account lock completed"
